Journeys in the Dark, et. al.

Like most of my (de)generation, Dungeons and Dragons was my first
role-playing game. The initial experience was sort of like one’s first
girlfriend. There was a lot of fumbling around, no one really knew what

In retrospect, perhaps I should have taken up stamp collecting.

I started playing games at around age 4. All of the usual suspects;
Sorry, Trouble (with Pop-o-Matic action!) Parchesi. My dad taught me how
to play chess when I was 5. My grandmother taught me how to cheat at

Treasure Fleet by Ship of Fools Games

The Guise Knights recently played this game. We had a lot of fun with it. It’s fairly simple to play once you figure out the rules, and yet there are some elements of basic strategy that provide some challenge.
