Scrabble Takes a L3FT Turn Towards L33T
Do you speak L33T? Have you considered that there’s an entire generation that understands L33T about as well as their primary language? Do you think a neat game could be constructed around it? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, you’re in for a treat. The classic board game Scrabble® has been updated for our modern (pop)culture! L33T Tiles at leettiles.com has developed a set of letter tiles with today’s Internet society in mind.
Taking a cue from hackers and AOL chat-kiddies, L33T Tiles has created a stand-alone set of 103 tiles, with which you can replace your out-dated Scrabble® tiles, and play the classic game like a L33T H4X0R! Naturally, in the interests of fair play, there are official rules when playing with L33T Tiles, but don’t worry, the complete rules fit on one IBM punch card which is fortunate, because that’s what they’re printed on. They’ve also compiled a L33T-Speak dictionary (although, it’s a little old, and woefully incomplete). This is a fun variant for Scrabble®, and L33T Tiles has also developed a few more games with which you can put the tiles to use, and they’re reasonably priced.
I’m going to be giving a demonstration of L33T Tiles at RandomCon this year. Check out the Guise Knights Forum for discussions and schedules.
Hope to see you there!

I have no idea what you mean.

Scabble is a typo. This has been corrected, but I’m not sure how it happened in the first place.
